Toddlers are back! EA

It’s great to finally have toddlers in The Sims 4, but they are far from the easiest Sims to please. They may be cute and miniature, however, they’re very needy and require a ton of attention to develop skills. That’s where toddler cheats come in. Especially if you have parents who need to fulfill career goals and can’t afford a nanny, here are the cheats you’ll need to keep your toddler happy and healthy.

First, make sure cheats are enabled. Control + Shift + C will open the cheat window. Type: testingcheats true. If you’ve done so correctly, a message saying cheats are enabled will pop up. If you’re leveling up skills or maxing out needs, make sure to select the toddler in live mode before entering the cheat. Include all underscores and spaces in the cheat.

Skills

Example: stats.set_skill_level statistic_skill_toddler_communication 5

Toddler Imagination (max 5): Toddler_Imagination (x)

Toddler Communication (5): Toddler_Communication (x)

Toddler Movement (5): Toddler_Movement (x)

Toddler Potty (3): Toddler_Potty (x)

Toddler Thinking (5): Toddler_Thinking (x)

Needs

Toddler needs are: Bladder, Hunger, Fun, Attention, Energy and Hygiene.

To max out each need bar, enter: fillmotive[motive_type]

For Example: fillmotive motive_hunger

To max out all motives/needs: sims.fill_all_commodities

Moodlets

With testingcheats enabled, shift+click on the selected Sim for extra options, such as ‘Disable Need Decay’ and also ‘Make Happy.’

To get the playful buff: Sims.add_buff PlayfulHigh

To get the energized buff: Sims.add_buff EnergizedHigh

Removing a negative moodlet is quite simple. This will come in handy for toddlers with the fussy and clingy trait. Be careful, because this will get rid of moods like ‘happy’ too. So only use it in bad situations: Sims.remove_all_buffs

CAS

With testingcheats enabled, shift+click on the selected Sim and you’ll see the option ‘Modify in CAS.’ Use this to edit relationships and change the look of your toddler without restriction.

You can also do this by entering: cas.fulleditmode in the cheat console.
