The 'real' may be on the rise in the world of "GTA" as per the latest rumors as it was reported that Canadian rapper, singer, and songwriter, Drake, is getting his radio station on "Grand Theft Auto VI." However, it would not be the same as previous artist features on "Grand Theft Auto" as Drake would voice himself as the station's very own DJ and host, possibly providing his top hits as well.

If this comes true, it will be the most ambitious collaboration of Rockstar Games in "Grand Theft Auto" history with artists, particularly those that had their stations or exclusive features in the game.

Drake Is Getting His Radio Station in 'GTA VI'

ComicBook Gaming reported that rapper and music producer, Jermaine Dupri, revealed that there will be a specialfeature on "Grand Theft Auto VI" with one of the most famous artists in the world, Drake. It is yet unknown if this would be a collaboration between Drake and Rockstar Games, or the game developing studio and his different labels, Universal Music Group via Young Money Entertainment or OVO Sound.

Despite the two trailers and the official website of "Grand Theft Auto VI," there are still a lot of unknown features behind the game, especially with what specific collaborations the game will deliver soon. This recent rumor comes as a big surprise for all, as Drake would be a new artist to onboard for possibly the biggest game in "GTA's" history to date, with other previous artists also hosting their stations in past titles.

Should Drake host his radio station in "GTA VI," it is expected that like previous stations, it would only feature a loop of recorded commentary and deejaying from the artist, and not a live one. It remains unknown if Drake would also bring his top hits and songs over the past decades into "Grand Theft Auto VI" as this was not mentioned by Dupri in his latest revelation.

"Grand Theft Auto VI" is being touted as the most ambitious game in the franchise to date, and with this, bringing Drake as a host to a radio station would match the aura of the title, with one of the most celebrated artists to feature.

What to Expect From 'GTA VI' Radio?

"Grand Theft Auto" is known for featuring renowned artists to host their exclusive radio stations in the many games, including R&B singer and songwriter, Frank Ocean, on "GTA V's" Blonded Los Santos 97.8 FM and rock legend Kenny Loggins, also on "GTA V," for Los Santos Rock Radio.

It was previously rumored that Loggins is reprising his role as a radio station host in "GTA VI," claiming that there will be a special feature for the renowned superstar in the next game. Moreover, it is also worth noting that Loggins is a Canadian singer and songwriter, similar to Drake.

This rumored radio station for Drake is speculated to feature hip-hop songs, but there may not be any Kendrick Lamar songs to be played here and deejay-ed by Champagne Papi following their recent feud.

Nevertheless, "GTA VI" will also reportedly allow artists to upload their music directly to the game as per recent rumors, adding to the massive rumors about Drake's arrival in-game.
