Pokémon Go's new Team Rocket bosses have finally found their way to the game. Interestingly, their appearance has a very interesting effect on wild pocket monsters. That is because, for a very limited time, Pokémon used by these infamous villains should appear in the wild much more often than before. What is more, players will have another chance to capture a new Shiny variant.

From now until 4 PM ET on November 14, Pokémon such as Ekans, Koffing, and Meowth will spawn frequently in the wild. Even pocket monsters deemed to be "significant to Team Go Rocket and the Team Go Rocket Boss, Giovanni" are expected to appear in Raids. Perhaps the most interesting part is the fact that players will have the chance to encounter and catch a Shiny Meowth, either in the wild or in Raids.

Apart from bringing increased Pokémon spawns, Team Rocket has added a couple of new Shadow Pokémon to their lineup in Pokémon Go. In other words, players will be able to encounter Shadow versions of Bellsprout, Magnemite, Porygon, and Wobbuffet. It is worth noting, though, that this is only possible when taking on Team Rocket grunts.

Team Rocket leaders, on the other hand, are believed to have access to Shadow Meowth, Scyther, and Sneasel. To know more about the Team Rocket event, check out the official Pokémon Go site here.

The new Team Rocket bosses are none other than Arlo, Cliff, and Sierra. They all can be encountered when players use an item called the Rocket Radar. The latter can be assembled by collecting six mysterious components, all of which can be obtained from Team Rocket grunts. By using the Rocket Radar, players will be able to determine the hideout of one of the bosses and even challenge them to a battle. And if players are successful, they can rescue one of the bosses’ Shadow Pokemon.

The Team Rocket leaders arrived alongside a new Special Research questline, which culminates in an encounter with Team Rocket head honcho Giovanni.
