Toge Productions and Mojiken Studio’s She and the Light Bearer releases on the Nintendo Switch this June 6.
This indie blend of music album and point-and-click adventure game was influenced by the aesthetics of storybooks and fairytales. She and the Light Bearer was first released for PC a few months ago. It has elements of art, poetry, dialogue, and of course, music, which makes the experience even better.
She and the Light Bearer is about the Little Firefly, who was commanded by their elder to go into the mysterious forest to look for the Mother. This journey will surely be hard for a little bug, especially because the entire forest has been protecting the Mother deep in sleep for quite some time now. That is why the Little Firefly must earn the trust of the forest to prove that it is worthy by passing challenges, solving riddles, and completing puzzles. As the Little Firefly delves deeper into the woods, it will learn about sacrifices in the forest, the scary Devourers, and finally, the secret of awakening the Mother.
As for the unique features, there will be interesting characters for the player to communicate with. All the art you’ll see in the game is hand drawn and animated by talented artists. The game is also filled with instrumental acoustic soundtracks that will improve your experience.
