Shadowverse: Champion’s Battle has officially been released on Nintendo Switch. This is only for North America, while the Europe release is scheduled for August 13.

The game is priced at $49.99 for both physical and digital versions. The physical version can be purchased through the XSEED Games Store while the digital is available at the Nintendo eShop.

For players who downloaded the free demo, their progress can be carried over once they buy the full version. In addition to the game, all Leader Skin and the Battle Pass Premium Pass DLC can now be purchased.

The Shadowverse: Champion's Battle RPG card game is based on the anime titled Shadowverse. The anime itself is based on a digital collectible card game of the same title released back in 2016 on iOS, Android, and PC.

In the game, players take on the role of a student who has transferred to Tensei Academy. Upon arriving at the school, they get to know one of their classmates named Hiro Ryugasaki. It is Hiro who introduces players to the Shadowverse card game.

The players and Hiro then join up with Shadowverse club president Rei to master the card game and win the national championship. One of the reasons is to prevent the club from being disbanded. Throughout their journey, they will explore unique locations around the academy and the surrounding town.
