It’s not enough to make the Galaxy S7 water resistant, it appears Samsung is moving forward with a Galaxy S7 Active. Tech informant Evan Blass shared on twitter Thursday, details about an AT&T model of the device that is reportedly in a testing phase.

The report makes sense as AT&T is typically one of few carriers to offer Samsung’s Active variant of yearly flagships. The carrier currently offers the Galaxy S6 Active. In addition to being water resistant, Active models usually include a rugged design, making them dust-proof, drop-proof and perfect for more adventurous smartphone users.

There are few details known about the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, outside of its model number, SM-G891A, and its internal codename, Poseidon. However, based on the Galaxy S7 and previous Galaxy Active smartphones, pundits speculate the smartphone will include features like a battery larger than the Galaxy S7 cell and a micrsoSD slot for internal storage expansion.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 Active would likely share such Galaxy S7 features as its 5.1-inch Quad HD display, 12-megapixel camera, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Maybe the device would have the larger 3,600mAh battery seen on the Galaxy S7 Edge. Or maybe Samsung will go even bigger.

Specs won’t be confirmed until AT&T announces the device. But consumers like won’t have to wait long before the Galaxy S7 Active is introduced.
