It’s been a while since we’ve heard a sizzling rumor about a game’s possible release, so now may be the perfect time to delve into one. For one thing, it’s a Rockstar Games title, so you know people are interested. For another, it’s not just any Rockstar title, but one that’s actually incredibly popular amongst the developer’s fanbase.
In a new report, it’s said that the highly-anticipated Bully 2 is very real and is in development. Not only that, it’s also set for a cross-generational release on consoles via the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, and Xbox One and Project Scarlett. The release for this game is apparently planned for sometime next year in November, which is the same time of the year as when Rockstar released Red Dead Redemption 2 last year.
The report’s source is a bit of a mixed bag. It comes from a very prominent Bully-centric YouTuber named SWEGTA, who apparently received news from a Rockstar insider.
The real question is just how much truth was in this report in the first place. SWEGTA is confident in the source, and he is actually a very reliable voice in Bully-related news for years now. Another insider also reportedly backs up his claim, as Twitter use Yan2295 has said years ago that Bully 2 was supposedly Rockstar’s next title after Red Dead Redemption 2.

However, it’s still important to take things with a huge grain of salt, as a lot of rumors involving Rockstar and its titles have burned many people before. Let’s take into account that the company is known for developing only one game at a time, and there could be an enormous wait time in between those projects. Red Dead Redemption 2 only came out last year, and if Bully 2 truly will release next year, that would point to its development taking place during the same time as the former, or Rockstar has managed to actually develop a game in a reasonable amount of time.
