A pair of new Rocket League add-ons have been announced by Psyonix, days after the studio revealed staggering new sales figures for its automotive soccer game. But it’s going to take a bit longer to get your hands on the next round of Rocket League DLC if you aren’t planning to buy a copy of Rocket League Collector’s Edition when the game makes its retail debut next month.

At this point, we’re not sure anyone still playing Rocket League is unaware that the game isn’t actually the debut offering from Psyonix. It’s not even the studio’s first attempt at meshing the breakneck speeds of stock car racing with the world’s most popular sport. That honor goes to Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars , a PlayStation 3 exclusive that never managed to find the audience Psyonix was hoping for. But the game lives on, thanks to sporadic additions to the Rocket League garage, and the studio is nearly ready to release two more vehicles.

According to Psyonix, fans who purchase a copy of Rocket League Collector’s Edition will find a pair of previously unreleased vehicles in their garage. Both of the vehicles, called Aftershock and Marauder, were part of the SARPBC roster. And they’ll be exclusive to the retail version of the game for a handful of weeks. Rocket League Collector’s Edition heads to North American stores on July 5; however, the new vehicles, which cost $1.99 each for existing players, won’t be available on PSN, Steam or Xbox Live until July 18 .

For a closer look at both of the new cars coming to Rocket League this weekend, along with some of the new paint jobs included in this week’s patch, take a couple of minutes to check out the new Aftershock and Marauder trailer from Psyonix. Then head down to the comments section and let us know which vehicle(s) you’d like to see added to Rocket League next.
