Boxed copies of Rocket League (sold as Rocket League: Collector’s Edition) will head to North American stores this July, 505 Games announced on Wednesday, just a couple of weeks after the game’s physical release in Africa, Europe and the Middle East.

Word of a physical release for the beloved indie game first broke last month. At the time, it wasn’t clear when we could expect boxed copies of Rocket League to hit store shelves or what (if any) new content we might see included on the disc. Fortunately, 505 Games and Psyonix have finally revealed additional details about their plans to release boxed copies of Rocket League.

According to a new press release, Rocket League: Collector’s Edition will actually debut in the EMEA region first, heading to stores on June 24. Physical copies of the game will make their way to North America on July 5. The two companies have already confirmed the boxed version of Rocket League will include all of the DLC already released for the game. But it turns out there will be a few new pieces of content in Rocket League: Collector’s Edition, too.

Details remains scarce at this time; however, 505 Games says fans can expect four new cars to be included with Rocket League: Collector’s Edition. It’s not clear whether or not these vehicles will be available to the rest of the game’s community, either as a free or premium download, or what inspiration Pysonix will use for Rocket League’s next 4 vehicles. 505 Games says additional information on the new cars will be released in the coming weeks.
