The trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2 is here! The video, which can be watched above, shows... well... not much. We get a few glimpses of the scenery, along with some shots of a town. At the end, there's a group of men on horseback riding off towards... something. It's all very vague and unfortunately short.

That being said, the graphics look phenomenal. It's probably not likely that these graphics represent actual gameplay, especially when there's no "Footage captured using in-game engine" notice to be seen. Still, GTA V looks great running on consoles, so Red Dead Redemption 2 will likely be on par or better than that experience.

"Listen to me. When the time comes, you're going to have to run and don't look back. This is over," the narration says in the video. What are we running from? Probably whatever (or whoever, as the case is likely to be) started that fire.

Based on what has been released already, Red Dead Redemption 2 will be coming to PS4 and Xbox One only. The previous Red Dead game never made it to PC, and the sequel seems to be heading down the same path. We also know there will be some kind of online component to Red Dead Redemption 2 similar to how GTA V has GTA Online.

No new release information was given other than a repetition of the same "Fall 2017" release window. Given how fickle game development can be, it makes sense that Rockstar doesn't want to put a hard date out and not be able to deliver on it.

So what do you think? Are you excited to play Red Dead Redemption 2 now? Do you think we'll see the new Western on the Nintendo Switch at some point? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
