This week in Red Dead Online players get a chance to slow things down a bit. Miss Harriet Davenport is calling on Naturalists for help in getting wildlife samples. In return, she’s buying Samples for twice the RDO$ and Role XP.
Naturalists who are at least Rank 5 are rewarded with 5 Blending Tonics and 200 Sedative Varmint Cartridges. Those who can turn in any three samples to Harriet get 2,000 Naturalist XP along with a 40% off a Novice or Promising Naturalist Role Item.
For those who poach animals instead of sedating them, they get a 40% off an Established or Distinguished Naturalist Role Item. Over at Gus’ store, crafting any time yields 30% off the price of the Elephant Rifle and 50 rounds of Nitro Express Ammo to boot.
Naturalist or not, simply logging in to the game this week gives three Predator Baits and three Herbivore Baits.
The Quick Draw Club No. 4
The biggest change with this week’s update is the start of The Quick Draw Club No. 4. For this one, the rewards up for grabs are:

Call to Arms
For this week, the people of Blackwater and MacFarlane’s Ranch are again asking for help. The good news is that they won’t be doing it at the same time. Blackwater seeks assistance from October 5 to October 7 while MacFarlane’s Ranch needs help from October 8 to October 11. Success gives players a bonus of 50% extra RDO$ and XP.

Non-Naturalists can buy the Sample Kit from Harriet Davenport at five Gold Bars off. There is also a 30% discount on Naturalist essentials like the Varmint Rifle and Harriet’s selection of Tonics.
Gunsmiths, meanwhile, are also offering 30% off the Bow as well as the Improved Bow. Those who just want to chill can go fishing and enjoy the discounts of 40% off the Fishing Rod and 50% off all Fishing Lures. Gypsy Cob is available at a 30% discount at the Stables.
