This week, Red Dead Online is all about steeds. Everyone is going to get their share of horses, no matter the breed, pedigree, or stripe. Players need to keep watch for rider-friendly Daily Challenges as all Races are handing out Triple RDO$, Gold and XP. There’s also going to be more horse-related challenges appearing throughout the week.

It’s not just the races, however, as all Horse Core provisions are being made available this week for free. That means this is a good time to stock up on items like carrots and Horse Medicine, among others.

If you think that’s not enough, well it isn’t. For those who want to expand their stable, now is the time as well. Arabian Horses, for example, are offered at a 30% discount this week. The same discount is available for Stable Slots. Meanwhile, items like Saddles and Improved Saddles are being offered at 40% off. In addition, Blankets, Bedrolls, Horns, Saddlebags, and Stirrups, are being sold at a 50% discount.

Offered at 50% off as well are Tier 3 Ability Card Upgrades along with the Horseman and Friends for Life Ability Cards.

Black Lives Matter

On June 4, Rockstar Games shut down access to both Red Dead Online and Grand Theft Auto Online for two hours. This was in honor of the legacy of George Floyd. Read more about that here.

Rockstar wasn’t the only company that did this. EA, for example, initially set Madden NFL 21 to be launched on June 1. However, they made the decision to postpone it. EA also postponed its EA Play Live event from June 11 to June 18.

Like EA, Naughty Dog also delayed the release of The Last of Us Part II to later this month. Riot Games, meanwhile, issued a statement denouncing and speaking out against racism. Marvel and Star Wars also issued similar statements.

Sony also postponed its event where it was set to give out more details about the upcoming PlayStation 5. This was supposed to be on June 4 and will now take place on June 11.
