The NA Six Invitational Qualifiers grand final match between Beastcoast and Altiora has concluded. The matches were played in a best of five series. This match decided the team going to the Six Invitational.
The first map of the series was Kafe Dostoyevsky. Altiora played pretty well on the attacking side, which shows their decent coordination. Beastcoast on the attack, meanwhile, was uncoordinated particularly on Round 7. Beastcoast gained control of the top floor but they took too long to execute into the kitchen site, which cost them the round. You could also notice Beastcoast using flashbangs on each other indicating a lack of communication. Thus, Altiora won the first map with a 7-4 scoreline.
The second map, Consulate, was a one-sided map for Beastcoast. Altiora was unable to counter Beastcoasts' attacks, which rewarded the latter with multiple rounds. Due to better plays on Consulate, Beastcoast won the map with a 7-2 scoreline.
The third map, Clubhouse, was a quite fun match to watch. Round 6 was the highlight of the entire map with Beastcoast playing a weird roam strategy on basement defense. Jason "GhxsT" Luu from Beastcoast hid in the Gym and Altiora failed to drone him. Even though Beastcoast was down to a 3v4 situation, GhxsT’s flank allowed him to distract the enemies and win the round. Beastcoast took the map with a 7-3 scoreline.
The fourth map was on Villa and it's a pretty easy win for Altiora. Beastcoast couldn't do much and just struggled, which gave the map to Altiora with a 7-4 scoreline.
The final map was Theme Park. This map determined the team qualifying for the Six invitational, which made it the most anticipated map in the series. Altiora showed decent performance on the attack but got stronger on defense. Altiora simply fragged their way through the final map and took the down Beastcoast and the series with a 7-4 scoreline.
