Rainbow Six Siege’s APAC North Division has started its third stage. This is an important league as the first placer will qualify for the Six Major. The second to fourth placers will qualify for the playoffs, where they will face APAC South teams.

Mantis FPS vs. CYCLOPS Athlete Gaming

Cloud9 was underperforming, which made the organization drop its Rainbow Six Siege team. The roster is currently playing under the team name Mantis FPS. The match between Mantis and CAG was played on Oregon, which is a defender-sided map. Mantis started on defense and was able to win every alternate round.

But in the final round of Mantis’ defense, Sihun "Nova" Lee of Mantis was able to clutch the round with a shotgun. Nova was stuck in a 1v3 situation at the Supply Closet. He jumped out but won all the gunfights since they were at close range. The first half resulted in a 4-2 scoreline. After the side switch, Mantis threw a couple of rounds, however, they still won the game with a 7-5 scoreline.

Fnatic vs. T1

T1 has been in a rough spot for almost two leagues, where they placed last on both. Fnatic, on the other hand, was decent but unable to qualify for the playoffs last time. This match was played on Chalet, which is an attacker-sided map. Fnatic started on defense, and that first round was very close for both teams. The round came down to a 3v3 situation, and T1 was able to plant the bomb.

Fnatic’s Patrick "MentalistC" Fan got a triple kill and clutched the first round. MentalistC got 12 kills in the first half, which helped his team win with a 6-0 split. After the side switch, Fnatic only required one round to win. Fnatic played the final round methodically and didn’t throw. This resulted in a flawless victory for Fnatic with a 7-0 scoreline.
