As a result of the ongoing social tensions in the United States, Sony had to postpone the PlayStation 5 reveal event that was originally scheduled to take place on June 4.

Now, it looks like the event has been rescheduled to June 11. This comes from a tweet made by the official PlayStation Twitter account. If you haven't heard about the PS5 reveal event or you would like to enjoy a recap of everything you can expect in the event, we have got you covered.

Since it's the PS5 reveal event, all PlayStation fans are expecting to see the reveal of the final PlayStation 5 design. Since it's already been a while since Microsoft showcased its Xbox Series X gaming console, it's time that Sony also evens the odds with the reveal of its next-generation console. Up until now, Sony has only revealed the console specifications and a look at the new controller, but outside of those everything remains a mystery.

Yes, there were leaks regarding the PlayStation 5 Development Kit, but there is every possibility that the end product design can turn out to completely different.

In addition to the console reveal, a bunch of PlayStation 5 games will also be showcased during the event. The entire event is said to be at least an hour long. PlayStation fans will be eagerly expecting the reveal of Horizon Zero Dawn 2. The original Horizon Zero Dawn launched in 2017.

There have also been several leaks indicating the reveal of the next mainline Resident Evil game, possibly Resident Evil 8.

A few rumors also suggest that a Demon's Souls rework is in the works at Bluepoint Studio. This is the same studio that remade Shadow of the Colossus for the PlayStation 4. Godfall, a PlayStation 5 exclusive, should also get some screen time during the event.
