The August issue of CoroCoro has leaked earlier than expected and with it comes new Pokémon, new Alola Forms and the first information regarding this generation’s Evil Team for Sun and Moon.

First, we’ll talk about the new Pokémon . In CoroCoro, we have four new Pokémon and according to Serebii they are Sunabaa and Shirodesuna the Ghost/Ground-type sandcastle Pokémon.

We also have the pre evolution of Bewear in the form of Nuikoguma, which keeps the Normal and Fighting-type. Take a look at the Pokémon Sun and Moon scan below.

The last new Pokémon is a new fish named Yowashi, which is just the Water-type but has a unique ability that lets it summon a school of Yowashi to form a larger fish. Check out the scan below.

In terms of new Alola Pokémon, the Alola Marowak that many people predicted has been confirmed as a Fire and Ghost-type. According to CoroCoro, and Serebii’s translation, Marowak gained the new typing to fight off its natural enemies.

Alola Meowth has been confirmed and is now a Dark-type because of breeding from the Alolan royal family. This likely means Persian will get an Alola Form as well.

Pokémon Sun and Moon will have a new Evil Team in the form of Team Skull. CoroCoro showed off two members of the new team, the boss named Guzma and a female team member named Plumeri.

And it wouldn’t be CoroCoro if it didn’t tease next month’s issue. In September, CoroCoro will have a special poster featuring Rockruff’s “Secret Evolution.”

Since it’s introduction, Rockruff has said to have a connection with the Alola starters and the popular theory is that all four will have multiple final evolutions. We’ll have to wait a month to find out.

If you were convinced that 4Chan Pokedex leak was real, this now disproves it as Bewear is NOT a standalone Pokémon and the others were not included on that list.

But we want to hear your thoughts on the new Pokémon, the new Alola Forms and the new Team in the comments section below.
