Pokémon Go announced that Trainers have another event to look forward to this November. There’s going to be a Limited Research event that’s set to feature both Nidoran♀ and Nidoran♂.

This event is going to be on November 28 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, local. During this time, Trainers can perform event-exclusive Field Research tasks. Completing these tasks earns Trainers encounters with the aforementioned Pokémon. Those lucky enough can even encounter the shiny versions for both Nidoran varieties.

Before the Limited Research event even arrives, there’s the Lake Legends event. This one starts on November 24 at 4:00 PM EST and ends on November 30 at 4:00 PM EST. During this event, Legendary Pokémon Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf are going to appear in five-star raids. The actual Pokémon that appears is dependent on where a Trainer is located. Meanwhile, Goldeen is appearing in the wild more often and even hatching from 5 km Eggs.

Tips on Spotlight Event

Pokémon Go is introducing what it calls the City Spotlight initiative. It’s going to be on November 22, and there’s no question that it is set to offer a new experience for everyone (who live in select cities around the world). For now, it’s limited to four cities, which are Tainan, Taiwan, Kyoto, Japan. Auckland, New Zealand, and Busan, South Korea.

If your city is not included, why should you be interested? Well, at least when your city is in the City Spotlight, you’ll know what to do. Basically, here’s what you need to know:

  • Buy a City Spotlight ticket.
  • Make the most of the experience by using Incense.
  • Learn and explore the featured locations in your city.
  • Get to level 20.
    • This allows Trainers access to AR Mapping tasks and allows for taking part in competitions between cities.
  • Update your Pokémon Go app.
  • Prepare for a day of Pokémon Go.
  • Check guidelines from local health authorities.
  • Share your experience on social media.
