While Microsoft has already announced tons of Xbox live black friday deals, Sony is being far more mysterious. Sony has yet to announce any specific PS Plus deals and with Thanksgiving close at hand, we have to wonder if they plan on announcing any deals beforehand. There is a certain allure to rolling out of bed friday morning, rolling down the stairs, rolling into a leftover sandwich, and seeing what the sales are. But it does make it hard to do any early planning.
The most information we have is this strange video that PlayStation Europe released. The 30 second video doesn’t feature any gameplay footage or hints on when and what the sales will be. Instead, it features people’s faces being blown back by a giant fan. Unless we want to assume that all deals will be for wind based games - this provides little information.
We will report back upon receiving any info on PlayStation Plus sales. If last year is any guide, we can expect a Flash Sale the night of Thanksgiving followed by further sales on Black Friday.
