Xbox consoles may not have the best exclusives (yet) but they sure beat PlayStation in terms of features. The previously announced FPS Boost feature was just applied to 13 more games, and I mean 13 more EA games.

FPS Boost is a feature by Microsoft where the next-gen console, Xbox Series X|S, will get a higher frame rate on older games without any intervention from the original developers. Though the technology is still in its infancy. Only 23 games support the FPS Boost feature thus far. You can check out the complete list over here.

The 12 new games are big ones. Now, Xbox players will get 120 FPS in Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, Battlefield 1, and Battlefield 5. Two Titanfall and Star Wars Battlefront titles are included as well.

Keep in mind that the weaker console, Xbox Series S, will not get 120 FPS on every game mentioned. Here's the list:

  • Battlefield 1 - 120 FPS on Series X
  • Battlefield 5 - 120 FPS on Series X
  • Mirror's Edge Catalyst - 120 FPS on Series X
  • Star Wars Battlefront 2 - 120 FPS on Series X
  • Titanfall - 120 FPS on Series X
  • Battlefield 4 - 120 FPS on Series X and S
  • Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare - 120 FPS on Series X and S
  • Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville - 120 FPS on Series X and S
  • Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 - 120 FPS on Series X and S
  • Star Wars Battlefront - 120 FPS on Series X and S
  • Titanfall 2 - 120 FPS on Series X and S
  • Unravel 2 - 120 FPS on Series X and S
  • Sea of Solitude - 60 FPS on Series X and S

Sea of Solitude is the only game not supporting 120 FPS in both next-gen Xbox consoles, and there's no explanation at this time.

Furthermore, you can play every one of these games on the Xbox platform via Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. The ultimate tier of the Pass gives users access to EA Play.

So go download these games ASAP and enjoy these AAA titles at 120 FPS, which was previously only possible on a high-end PC.

So what do you think? Are you interested in any of these games? Which one of these games will you try first? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
