Phasmophobia's recent update went live a couple of hours ago. Hotfix v0.6.2.1 makes changes to footsteps, addresses a handful of bugs, and improves loading time.

Thanks to the patch, ghost footsteps now work a little differently. The sound of their footsteps now depends on what material they are walking on, a mechanic that was already applied to players. The volume of footsteps in the truck has been reduced, and the rate of ghost footstep sounds to play is improved.

The patch improves the game's load times and changes how Thaye’s weakness works. From now on, players can open ghost-type pages when playing in VR. Thaye will answer questions correctly and Deogen’s speed has been smoother.
