Path of Exile: Patch 3.15.3 Adds New Option to Stop Item Renders Hidden by Item Filter

Developer Grinding Gear Games has recently launched Patch 3.15.3 for Path of Exile. One of the notable things introduced by this update is a new option that stops items on the ground from rendering if they are hidden by your item filter.

This new feature is one of the things people have been asking for, especially those who have graphics cards that cannot handle the massive number of loot in certain activities, such as juiced-up delirium and blight maps, among others.

Another notable improvement is that players who have purchased $60 or $90 supporter packs can now propagate the weapon effect to their off-hand. To do this, just equip the weapon effect on the main hand in the cosmetics panel.

For bug fixes, the patch has resolved the issue where Heist Rogues are not being affected by increased job speed modifiers. The rogues will also not get stuck on doors from now on.

Those who were wondering if the Soul of the Brine King Pantheon Power is bugged, well it was, but not entirely. Only the “You cannot be Frozen if you’ve been Frozen Recently” bit was not working, but it is now fixed.

Patch Highlights

IMPROVEMENTS
  • Opening a Map with an “Area contains a Blight Encounter” Enchantment in an Atlas Region with the same Modifier on a Watchstone will no longer consume a charge of the Watchstones Modifier
  • Updated the description on Blight Scarabs to clarify Areas contain a single Blight Encounter (multiple Blight Encounters per area were never possible)
BUG FIXES
  • Fixed a bug where Heist Trinket that caused Orbs of Transmutation to drop as Regal Orbs would also have a chance to drop them as Orbs of Alchemy or Chaos Orbs
  • Fixed a bug where the Reflected Damage from Divergent Molten Shell was not penetrating Enemy Fire Resistance
  • Fixed a bug where multiple increased Quantity of Items found in this Area Zana Modifiers could be seen when viewing the Map Device
  • Fixed a bug where killing Sevet Tetherein would deafen audio as if the player died
  • Fixed a bug where the Passive Skill Points available button would disappear while you were in an area that you had previously died in
  • Fixed a visual bug where non-damaging Ailments could show the wrong effective value on players
