Paragon: The Overprime Invites You to the Second Closed Beta Test for the PS5

The second Closed Beta Test for the PlayStation 5 version of Paragon: The Overprime is now live. It's accessible until January 8 and available in the regions of the US, Europe, and Russia. Through this test, Netmarble hopes that players can experience what the PlayStation 5 can offer for the game. These include taking advantage of features like the Aim Assist, Adaptive Triggers, Haptic Feedback, Speaker capabilities of the DualSense controller, and 3D Audio.

For this test, players can look forward to trying out the new heroes added to the PC version. These are Morigesh, Yin, and MARTY. MARTY in particular was added two weeks ago and brings with her some cool abilities.

Improvements Made

  • Then there are the changes made based on the feedback given by players. These are:
  • an alternate D-pad layout to allow for a more flexible control method
  • an auto-purchase feature for in-game ite
  • different improvements to the UI and camera movements used by the controller

By the way, those able to join this Closed Beta Test get to obtain the Grux's Special winter skin called "Red Nosed," which is going to carry over to the live game. There are also special emotes along with 100 Kima. During the second week of the CBT, players can expect to get five of the winter 2022 skins as rewards Netmarble said that additional rewards are being planned in celebration of the New Year.

For PC Players

PC players meanwhile need not feel sad during the holidays. That's because they'll also be getting the same Grux's Special winter skin "Red Nosed" to mark the one year of the game in early access. To celebrate the year-end season, the Agnis of Light is going to be decked out with a winter theme plus five holiday skins added.

Paragon: The Overprime is a team-based TPS Action MOBA game available free on PC. It's also been released for the PlayStation 5 and features full crossplay between platforms. The game has players choose one of the heroes having original skills, try to destroy the base of the enemy, and claim it as their own. The game is played through a third-person view featuring different ways to come up with strategies between heroes and various in-game items. Every game played offers an exciting new challenge.
