Pac-Man Museum+ is now available and gives players the chance to play classic and nostalgic titles from the game franchise’s library. A total of 14 different Pac-Man games can be enjoyed on PC through Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
In a statement, Bandai Namco Entertainment America Senior Director Susan Tran revealed that this new collection can capture the endless fun that players have long expected from the series along with an immersive virtual arcade experience. She added that when playing Pac-Man, there has always been an element of competition. This new collection gives players 14 games to master, with each one having online leaderboards.
Pac-Man Museum+ offers a customizable in-game arcade where players can unlock custom cabinets, decorative themes, and wallpapers. Players can also unlock a jukebox that plays music to design the Pac-Man game room of their dreams. Players can earn coins as well through the virtual Gashapon vending machine, which offers decorations and classic Pac-Man-themed toys. For a limited time, players who buy the collection within the first 30 days of launch get a bonus of five silver or gold Pac-Man figures that can be used to decorate the in-game arcade.
Those looking for some competition can expect unlockable missions and an online leaderboard for each title which ranks gameplay scores and a range of fun stats like coins collected and dots eaten, to name a few.
