AOne Games’ horror fighting game Omen of Sorrow is coming to PC on the Epic Games Store and you can grab a copy for $19.99.
Omen of Sorrow, which first launched on the PlayStation 4, is a classic 2D, four-button fighting game that runs on Unreal Engine 4. The characters take their inspiration from classical horrors, fantasies, and myths. Unlike other fighting games, Omen of Sorrow's battle system was made to accommodate players from all levels of skill. The game doesn’t rely on statistics or chances, it features broad battle mechanics that lean towards movement and spacing rather than execution to give all the players an enjoyable experience, be it newbies or pros.
The devs used rollback, or GGPO, a netcode technique that will give you an almost lagless online gaming experience. You can also engage in battle with friends through Local Multiplayer. It’s always fun to play with friends in the same space as you.
Omen of Sorrow has a few features in store for you to enjoy. You can fight a number of familiar characters and make strategies to create thorough special moves and skills. Play with the dangerous and dreary stages that are inspired by some old European legends. Explore the dark and horrific tales in the exclusive Story Mode. Beat your friends to a pulp with the local versus mode or battle it out with the Arcade Mode and Survival Mode. If you want to improve your skills thoroughly, you can always use the Training Room. Have fun experiencing the online Mode that has both ranked matches and casual matches. You can even create your own lobby to set up your own rules. Conquer the different gameplay modes, that is if you can, and unlock over 200 in-game prizes.
