The Last Kids on Earth: Hit the Deck! is finally out of Steam Early Access. It’s priced at $14.99 but right now, it’s being offered at a 33% launch discount until February 24. This full launch adds a lot of new content like additional playable characters, cards, and quests, to name a few.

The game is based on the TV series The Last Kids on Earth from Atomic Cartoons and itself is based on bestselling novels of the same name by Max Brallier. It’s set in a world where a group of friends live in a tricked-out Tree Fortress of Awesomeness as they try to fend off hordes of drooling zombies along with giganto monsters from another dimension.

The Last Kids on Earth: Hit the Deck! focuses on Jack Sullivan and his friends June, Quint, and Dirk. The actions of each of the four characters are represented by a customizable deck which can then be used for tag-team combat. Of course, each characters brings their very own abilities which are:

  • Jack
    • Great at teamwork.
    • Fights hard when health is down.
  • June
    • Expert at kicking zombie butt.
    • Adept at seeing monster intentions and evading attacks.
  • Quint

    • Exceptional at using buffs and debuffs.
  • Dirk

    • Can shield anyone in combat.

  • More than 30 quests that follow the narrative of the book series, giving you new survival experiences in the town of Wakefield.
  • A variety of cards, including at least 60 unique cards per character, quest-based cards, gear-based cards, and location-based cards.
    • Build the perfect battle-deck for each character while getting additional cards based on your quest and battles.
  • Character cards that build on each character’s special abilities.
  • More than 50 pieces of gear, like Rover and Scream Machine, each giving different cards for your quests when you “gear up.”
  • Consumables like Atomic Cola and Sulfuric Stink Bombs can boost your monster-fighting awesomeness.
  • Use the crafting table to refill consumables, upgrade gear, and even create your own custom cards.
  • A rich narrative that follows the first book in the Last Kids on Earth series.
