Seems like everyday we’re trading back and forth details on Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Star Wars: Episode 8. We’ve never lived in a world where two Star Wars movies have been on the horizon at the same time – what a time to be alive! After breaking down theories on Rey’s family heritage in Episode 8 last night, we’re going to shift gears back to Rogue One and its latest reveal: new Empire characters and technology!

Not many people know about it yet, but Disney has started to air a weekly webseries on YouTube called The Star Wars Show. It’s only three episode in, with its first edition coming back on May 11, but already the show is proving its worth with some juicy details on the upcoming Star Wars: Rogue One. Feel free to watch for yourself below before I dive in:

The Star Wars Show exhibits some neat artwork that’s set to feature in Star Wars Celebration Europe this July. These aren’t just some cool paintings -- they introduce us to some new components of Star Wars: Rogue One, including a Stormtrooper spinoff -- Shoretroopers, as well as a souped-up AT-AT called the AT-ACT (All-Terrain Armored Cargo Transport).
