The BLAST Premier matches between Ninjas In Pyjamas and Berlin International Gaming have concluded. The matchup between the two teams was played in a best of three series.

Overpass was the first map of the series. BIG started the game by dominating NIP with a 9-0 scoreline. Players like Johannes "tabseN" Wodarz and İsmailcan "XANTARES" Dörtkardeş carried BIG with respective 12 and 14 kills. But after the tenth round, NIP switched gears and started to come back in terms of score.

In round 20, Tizian "tiziaN" Feldbusch from BIG made a really smart play where he took a weapon dropped by NIP in the connector and threw it far away so they can’t get it back. This was smart because NIP would have saved money if they got the gun from the connector, as it would carry on into the next round. Still, NIP took the first map with a 22-19 scoreline because of the overtime.

The second map was Dust2. This map wasn’t as intense as the first map, but it did have some amazing plays. tabseN made a marvelous play while sitting in a sniper nest. He got a double kill using a P250 through a cloud of smoke, despite being difficult to use due to its low damage and terrible recoil, which made the play notable.

BIG choked the lead and lost to NIP. NIP’s coordination and frags allowed them to take the second map with a 16-12 scoreline and without going to overtime. tabseN was the only player in BIG who went positive in K/D wise and who carried the team with 60 kills. Unfortunately, it didn’t matter in the end as NIP's more consistent teamplay prevailed.
