A new report from GameRant revealed that a seasoned Nintendo insider and Brazilian journalist known as "PH Brazil" shared a new scoop claiming that there will be another Nintendo Direct event waiting to happen in the near future.
It was revealed by PH Brazil (Pedro Henrique Lutti Lippe) that this rumored Nintendo Direct event will happen either in late May or by early June, with speculations claiming that the date is leaning more towards a June showcase. The speculations also suggest that a June Direct event would be more likely as it is reportedly planned by Nintendo to hold this showcase close to the Switch 2's launch.
PH Brazil is known for being a trusted insider for Nintendo announcements, with him being the first to reveal that the Switch 2 is slated for a 2025 release date. This was during the time when the industry is forecasting that the Switch 2 will arrive by 2024.
New Direct for Switch 2 Game Announcements?
The Switch 2 is set to launch on June 5, but it remains unknown when the Direct event would take place, as it could either be before, after, or during the launch date of the next-generation console.
Speculations also show that it remains unknown what this late May or early June Direct event will hold, particularly as it could bring different announcements.
