A New Adventure Awaits in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

A new adventure awaits. Ubisoft

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is finally out! It was made possible through a collaboration between Ubisoft, Disney, and Lightstorm Entertainment, the production company of James Cameron. The game features a first-person standalone adventure and is set in the same timeline as the Avatar films.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is available for the PC through Ubisoft Connect, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and the Amazon Luna. The standard edition is priced at $69.99 with the Ultimate Edition being offered at $129.99. In addition to the base game, The Ultimate Edition, comes with the season pass, a digital artbook, the Sarentu Heritage cosmetic pack, and the Sarentu Hunter equipment pack.

The game puts players in the Western Frontier, which is a never-before-seen continent allowing them to explore Pandora firsthand. In addition to new flora and fauna, players are introduced to a new Na'vi clans and even a banshee companion they can bond with as well as ride in the open skies. The game has them interact with this open world either in single-player or online in two-player co-op.

This time around it seems that the human militaristic RDA corporation is back again on Pandora and still intent on stripping away whatever resources they can find. Players take on the role of a Na'vi who was born on Pandora but abducted as a child and then raised away from Na'vi culture through the RDA training program. With the Na'vi roots combined with human upbringing, playes find themselves free only to realize later that they fell like strangers in their very own land. Aside from protecting the Western Frontier from the return of the RDA, players have to reconnect with their lost Na'vi heritage and make sure to unite disparate clans.

As they explore the expansive Western Frontier, they get to meet unique clans who teaches them what it means to a Na'vi. These include honing their "Na'vi Senses" while also mastering their strength in order to navigate this beautiful yet dangerous world. They'll also need to upgrade their skills especially if they want to prevent whatever it is the RDA is doing. Players not only can make use of those traditional Na'vi weapons like bows for precision and spear-thrower for high impact but they can make use of their human training and use various weapons like grenades.

Help the Na'vi and fight the RDA now!
