Neverwinter announced that Episode 2 of the new Sharandar module has arrived for PC. Titled "The Soul Keeper," it evolves Sharandar and takes players to Mended Grove to discover more about why the dead are haunting the land. This latest episode also brings some new features along with new areas and new quests, among many others.

Console players may need to wait a little longer as the version for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One is scheduled on May 13.

In Episode 2, it seems that the blight present in New Sharandar has receded. However, a new dark cloud has arrived in the forest and is slowly approaching Mended Grove. The Eladrin elves, long-buried, have risen and are walking the land as the undead. The problem is they’re not alone as joining them are the Iliyanbruen elves, ones corrupted by the Night Hag. As players work to help the elves of New Sharandar, they face what could be the strongest of the Night Hag’s minions, particularly the undead servants.

Here are the features of The Soul Keeper:

  • The Mended Grove
    • Get to explore the new Mended Grove area of the Sharandar Adventure Zone.
    • It is here that the undead servants, summoned by the Night Hag, haunt the living.
  • Night Hag Lair
    • The vile Night Hag has managed to make a lair in an Illefarn crypt.
    • Take care as there are a lot of undead guardians in this tomb.
  • The Soul Keeper Campaign
    • Start the second campaign and earn new rewards including new companion armor sets and new rings that come with new powers.
  • New Heroic Encounters
    • The new Mended Grove area offers four new and challenging Heroic Encounters:
      • One Major Heroic Encounter
      • Three Minor Heroic Encounters
    • Adventurers who complete an encounter get rewarded with Seals of the Wild.
      • This can be traded for Crone's gear.
  • New Bounties
    • As the threat of the Night Hag increases, players get to fight more of her foul champions.
    • Adventurers who are brave enough to defeat the threats can claim the bounties offered by the elves of New Sharandar.

The final episode of the new Sharandar module is Episode 3: The Odious Court, with more details to be revealed at a later date.
