NES Classic Edition Restock: GameStop Getting Limited Quantity Dec. 15

As gamers search the internet for restocks of the popular NES Classic Edition console from Nintendo, GameStop has announced that they will have a limited quantity of the mini NES on Dec. 15 and 16.

GameStop advices customers to call their preferred GameStop location or go to www.GameStop.com for more information on available quantities of the NES Classic Edition.

If the Nintendo Entertainment System isn’t your thing, GameStop.com has a treasure trove of more than 1,700 vintage titles, such as Sonic the Hedgehog for Sega Genesis for $9.99, Super Mario Sunshine for GameCube for $29.99, and Super Mario Kart for Nintendo 64 for $49.99.

The NES Classic Edition restock saga has seen many ups and lows, starting with Toys R Us and Best Buy getting restocks to Amazon getting a ridiculous small amount of the highly-desired console.

Other sites/stores are having raffles for customers looking for the NES Classic Edition.

To say the demand for the console far exceeds expectations would be an understatement, but if you’re in the New York City area you can get always head over to the Nintendo NY store, as they seem to have a steady flow of NES Classic Edition consoles in stock. Just be sure to stalk the Twitter page and get on line early.

The NES Classic Edition is priced at $59.99 but comes with 30 pre-installed classic games from the age of the NES and is a really good deal.

However, be sure to get a second controller if you can as the console only comes with one and there are some great two-player games included in the 30.
