The global closed beta of Myth of Empires is well underway, giving players the chance to try this multiplayer war sandbox game. The servers have both PvE and PvP with the beta running until October 10.
The game had its closed alpha back in April and then a localization alpha in June. Because of that, improvements and new gameplay have been implemented. Since the beta is going to be the first global test for the game, the development team revealed that it’s going to bring this game closer to the final version.
Here are some of the things that players can look forward to in the beta test:
- Explore an unforgiving world filled with bandits, wild animals, and of course, hostile players.
- Don’t forget to collect meat through hunting to satisfy hunger.
- Build a fort by collecting resources.
- Experience the all-new weather system along with new environments like snowy mountains, swamps, and deserts.
- Craft various kinds of weapons and armor of different tiers. These include:
- Swords
- Spears
- Halberds
- Axes
- Throwing weapons
- Crossbows
- Bows
- Shields
- Discover new animals like:
- Elephants
- Rhinos
- Crocodiles
- Butterflies
- Fish
- Construct customized structures piece by piece.
- Build siege weapons to overcome enemy fortresses that include:
- Ballistas
- Catapults
- Trebuchets
- Siege ladders
- Recruit NPCs through peaceful ways or by force.
- Get them to hunt, collect resources, or craft items.
- NPCs can even fight alongside players.
- Tame horses and ride them into battle or breed them to make horses with attributes more suited to whatever is needed.
- PvE and PvP servers are available in:

- North America
- Europe
- Try a robust guild system where players can form factions with their friends. Work together to fend off enemy attacks, conquer the server, and reign supreme.
- Expect new gameplay and content that include county, province, and fortress siege battles.
- There’s also the improved voice-chat, a new trade system, and character voices.
