MORDHAU recently received a new update called the Eastern Invasion Update. In this one, the developers have added tons of new skins and new content.

The highlight of this update is Noria, which is a new large Invasion/Frontline map. Besides that, developers added a smaller map called Cortile for Brawl and Ranked modes. Additionally, the Horde game mode now has 52 skills that players can specialize in across four different skill trees.

The developers also added UI to objectives to help players identify whether the objective is above or below them. This change is pretty cool as players will no longer get confused.

General
  • Enabled Christmas event
  • Revamped Horde
  • Added new Frontline and Invasion map: Noria
  • Added new Brawl map: Cortile
  • Upgraded Unreal Engine to 4.26
  • Players can no longer select which team to join, ensuring more balanced teams. Party members will be grouped together whenever possible.
Skins
  • Added new aventails for some helmets

  • Added mail surcoat and damaged surcoat

Combat
  • Initiating a throw no longer slows players movement speed down as much
  • Fixed riposte kick being too fast and jump kick windup now 25 ms faster
Weapons and Equipment
  • Added Scimitar - a new one-handed weapon
  • Deployable spawn is now more fragile and no longer grants spawn protection
  • Fixed toolbox being able to build on pushables
  • Shawm point cost reduced to 6
  • Partisan 25 ms faster stab and strike windup
  • Shortspear throw windup slightly faster
  • Added new Fire Urn to CombatTest
Maps
  • Noria map added (INV, FL, HRD, FFA, TDM, SKM)
  • Cortile map added (FFA, TDM, SKM, DU, TF)
  • Various map optimizations
  • Fixed Feitoria under the map exploit
  • Castello collision fixes and map layout improvements
  • Removed various toolbox exploits
Horde
  • Updated maps
  • Greatly improved pacing
  • Throwable weapons replenish their ammo over time
  • Improved gameplay to be less frustrating and kiting centric
  • Added new sounds and UI

Sounds
  • Reduced heartbeat length to 3 seconds
  • New Eastern voice set
  • Shawm sound replaced
UI
  • Fixed issue with spawn screen where deployable spawn points would overlap default spawn points
