Beatrix, a unique marksman in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, got some major changes in Patch 1.7.20, released recently on Android and iOS.
For those who don’t know, Beatrix has four weapons at her disposal - the Wesker shotgun, Nibiru SMG, Bennett grenade gun, and Renner sniper rifle. That said, these guns received some adjustments in the latest update.
All of Beatrix’s weapons reload slightly faster now, with reloading time reduced further as her attack speed increases.
Despite the buff to reload speeds, the basic attack damage of her guns is reduced across the board. The Wesker shotgun is heavily affected by this because each successive hit now deals 25% of its initial damage, which means that the damage output is greatly reduced at close range.
But there is some hope for Beatrix players out there. Even though her basic attacks deal slightly less damage now, they’re more powerful when used as an ultimate. For instance, the aim time of her Renner sniper rifle is greatly reduced, from 20 seconds down to eight. This allows her to fix her sights on the target faster, leaving the enemy with little time to react. Canceling the ultimate now only loses 50% of its cooldown, so the waiting time is not that long if the ability is canceled for whatever reason.
Aside from Beatrix, other heroes in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang got notable changes too. Here are just some of them:
- Ultimate
- Cooldown increased to 50-42 seconds
- Her Ultimate can no longer be used on any target after breaking an enemy's weaknesses but must be used on that target.
- Adjusted the mechanics of Valentina's Ultimate and lowered the control duration of her Skill 1 to address her irresistibility under specific conditions.
- Skill 1
- Terror duration reduced to 0.6 seconds
- Ultimate
- Cooldown increased to 55 seconds
- Valentina now gains the ability to hit enemies' weaknesses after stealing Wanwan's Ultimate and needs to hit all three weaknesses of an enemy to cast the Ultimate.
- Valentina now unlocks the Rage mechanic after stealing Minotaur's Ultimate and needs to reach maximum Rage to cast the enhanced Ultimate.
- Damage of the Ultimate stolen from X.Borg is now the same as the lower damage when X.Borg's Firaga Armor is destroyed, instead of that when his Firaga Armor is active.

- Cooldown increased to 18 seconds
- Skill 2
- Initial damage reduced to 300-450 + 108% Magic Power
- Ultimate
- Base Extra HP reduced to 600-800 +10% HP
