Developer Moonton Studios has partially reverted the previous changes made to Akai and Julian in the latest beta update for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. Beta Patch 1.6.72 also implemented balancing changes to the other heroes in the game.
The Scarlet Raven Julian is a work in progress, which is why he is still in the game’s advanced server and has not been officially introduced on the live servers yet. That said, some of his abilities have received some buffs in Beta Patch 1.6.72.
For one, his Smith’s Legacy passive has its magic lifesteal per stack increased to 25%, and the enhanced basic attack’s magic power bonus increased to 100%.
His second skill, Sword, has its enhanced version’s damage calculation changed to 122-170 + 20% Magic Power from 100-140 + 16% Magic Power. As you can see, these are quite the improvement.
For his ultimate, the enhanced version of Chain has its damage calculation changed to 122-170 + 20% Magic Power from 100-140 + 16% Magic Power. Not only that but the skill’s casting distance has been increased slightly as well.
While Julian is enjoying significant improvements in this update, the same cannot be said for Akai. That’s because the newly revamped hero has his Tai Chi passive nerfed, where the shield now only absorbs damage equal to 50 + 5% of his max HP.
