Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Beta Patch 1.6.70 Implements Some “Risky” Balancing Changes

The Beta Patch 1.6.70 for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is somewhat interesting, to say the least. That’s because developers from Moonton Studios implemented some risky balancing changes to certain heroes, including the newly introduced Scarlet Raven Julian, Akai, Natan, Aamon, Fanny, and Benedetta. This update is now available on the game’s advanced server.

Julian was released in the last beta update and he has a pretty interesting kit. The devs feel that he needs some balancing because he deals a bit more damage than they had hoped.

For one, his base attack speed took a considerable dip as it has been reduced from 109.5% to 99.5%. His Smith’s Legacy passive has some notable changes as well. First, its cooldown is increased to eight seconds (with the skill lock time still unchanged). Second, it now correctly benefits from Julian’s cooldown reduction. Third, it grants extra Spell Vamp for five seconds each time he hits a non-minion enemy with his skills (stacks up to three times). However, and this is a big one, his enhanced basic attacks no longer restore HP on hit, which means you have to think twice when engaging in risky maneuvers.

A new and improved Akai is introduced in Beta Patch 1.6.70 as well. This time, his early game survivability and damage have been increased slightly. His Tai Chi passive damage calculation, for example, has been changed to 100 + 5% of his max HP. His shield’s damage calculation has also been adjusted to 70 + 5% of his max HP.

    • Sustained damage reduced to 120-240 + 30% Magic Power

    • Sustained damage reduced to 100-140 + 16% Magic Power
  • Attributes
    • Base physical attack increased to 115
    • Physical attack growth increased to 13
  • Soul Shards (Skill 1)
    • Base damage increased to 175-300
    • Shard’s base damage increased to 50-100
  • Air Superiority (Passive)
    • Energy regen per stack reduced to 9
    • Energy regen when hitting multiple enemies reduced accordingly
  • Elapsed Daytime (Passive)
    • Damage increased to 210% physical attack
  • War Axe
    • Unique passive- Fighting Spirit:
    • Extra physical attack per stack increased to 10
    • Extra physical penetration per stack reduced to 2
  • Inspire
    • Cooldown increased to 75 seconds
    • Base HP regen reduced to 60
  • Fixed an issue where the damage of Feather of Heaven can critically strike
  • Fixed an issue where Battle Spell damage can also trigger Twilight Armor's effect

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Beta Patch 1.6.70 is now available on Android and iOS.
