The latest story trailer for Mass Effect: Andromeda is here, and it reveals some minor, but juicy details about what players will experience when they finally set foot in a new galaxy. Be sure to watch the trailer above, then we can dive into dissecting it.

The first shot is a character (presumably the male Ryder) walking onto the bridge of a ship that’s overlooking a new planet. Called “Habitat 7,” the planet has been targeted as being the New Earth humanity has been searching for.

Based on the trailer, it seems the massive Arks have fun out of fuel, and are just getting by on basic life support. On the way to inspect Habitat 7, Ryder comes up on a gigantic Kett organization that is building up an army. The Kett are a new race of aliens in the Mass Effect franchise and are led by the evil Archon, who can be seen in the trailer at a few points.

As for squadmates, it seems there are a few common appearances in the trailer. On the human side, there is a white female and a black male (with Ryder swapping spit with the woman at one point in the trailer). As for aliens, there’s a Salarian, the same Asari we’ve seen many times before, and a Krogan who is training with Ryder. It’s unknown exactly who each of these people is in relation to Ryder, but you can expect them to be fighting by your side once you start playing.

If you are thinking the graphics look good, that’s great. According to the end of the trailer, the video was captured in-engine and is “representative of game experience.” In other words, Mass Effect: Andromeda should be a treat for the eyes.

I don’t know about you, but this trailer just makes me want to sink into the latest Mass Effect adventure and never stop playing. We’ll all be able to do that once Mass Effect: Andromeda releases for PS4, Xbox One and PC on March 21.

So what do you think? Are you excited to play Mass Effect: Andromeda? What remaining questions do you still have that BioWare hasn’t answered yet? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
