Everybody seems to be excited as the list of games to be released for 2020 continues to grow larger, and now we can officially add Marvel’s Avengers on that list.
Square Enix gave us a lot to look forward to in their E3 2019 press conference, but Marvel’s Avengers on May 15 next year just might be one of the best of them. The game will be available for PC, PlayStation 4, Stadia, and Xbox One. You can pre-order it now for $59.99 at the Square Enix Store.
It has also been confirmed by Square Enix that they have formed a partnership with PlayStation for Marvel’s Avengers. This means surprises for the PlayStation players that will all be revealed sometime in the future.
In Marvel’s Avengers, players will be able to live out their dream life of a superhero. The game will present a unique story and a constantly growing universe put together for an amazing gaming experience. You will learn supernatural abilities, customize the increasing list of superheroes, form teams with up to four players, and protect the world from arising disasters.
The story will begin at A-Day. Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor are in San Francisco to reveal the Avengers Headquarters and the helicarrier that they’ve created which runs on the power of an experimental energy source. However, the joyous celebration is ruined by an accident that devastated everyone. The Avengers take a massive hit because of the accident, which leads them to disband. After five years of superheroes being banned from taking action, the world falls into chaos. It seems like the Earth needs heroes after all.
The game will feature a cinematic story along with powerful action brought to you by Crystal Dynamics. The content will be updated regularly, bringing the players on a journey that will last throughout the coming years.

- You will embark on your own Avengers journey with the character-driven story. You will be able to play as Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor. You can play on your own, or play with friends and finish co-op missions.
- Get both amazing skills and gear to create the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes that you’ve always dreamed of. You can play with multiple outfits to customize your heroes.
- Play with up to four players online to protect the Earth from arising threats. The story will be brought to you throughout the years. There will be no such thing as random loot boxes or pay-to-win scenarios. Each new superhero and place will be given to every player, you won’t have to pay additional fees. All you need is the core game.
