The development of the upcoming PvPvE looter shooter Marauders is moving forward with a closed PC beta test scheduled from July 20 to July 25. For the duration of the closed PC beta, players can run solo or do battle with a squad. Players can breach hostile spaceships, salvage valuable cargo, and of course, fight with other players and AI opponents, all before making their escape.
This upcoming closed beta test follows a successful closed alpha test held early this year. The new content for the closed beta includes:
- Two new raid locations
- Terraformer
- An abandoned agricultural hub built on top of an asteroid shard
- Merchant Ship
- An expansive and breachable frigate perfect for intimate and long-range firefights.
- Two additional firearms
- Heavy Thompson
- Klobb Machine Pistol
In addition, the closed beta also comes with several quality-of-life improvements like the "Quick Loot" option and the foldable bags for economic inventory management. There are a lot of things to look out for in the closed beta that weren't available in the closed alpha.
