Naughty Dog announced earlier this month that Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, the highly anticipated finale to the beloved Uncharted series, is finally complete. However, there's still plenty to learn about the new game ahead of its May 10 release.

The original Uncharted trilogy arguably defined the performance potential of the PS3. For the latest Uncharted 4, many fans are expecting Naughty Dog to continue pushing the envelope for Sony's current PS4 platform. A new trailer from the PlayStation YouTube channel demonstrated the limits the team at Naughty Dog has pursued in the name of perfection.

In the video, the development team shared a number of new elements they were able to add to Uncharted 4, thanks to the added performance available in the more powerful PS4 console. The devils are in the details as the team goes over the splatter effects when Nathan's Jeep spins over some made that cakes over the truck. The team also gets into all the subtle atmospheric and environmental elements added to the game to make the world that much more realistic and lush with detail.

Other elements include the new rope that Drake uses in Uncharted 4. The team emphasis that the rope is not a gimmick, but a fully integrated part of Nathan Drake's movement. Dyanmic movements, stealth movements, and a compbination of melee attacks are also incorporated to provide players with more choice and ways to take on Nathan's enemies.
