League of Legends: Patch 11.21 Introduces Rune and Item Changes, Champion Adjustments

League of Legends Patch 11.21 is currently on PBE and will be launched to the official servers this week. This patch made changes to certain runes and items, besides adjustments to some Champions. So, what has changed?

System Changes

The Goredrinker has been changed dramatically in this update. Both its Spite passive and base health regeneration effect have been removed. The new version comes with 8% Omnivamp and its Thirsting Slash has been changed to 175% base attack damage, instead of the 100% total AD physical damage before.

Besides that, the Stridebreaker also received a similar treatment. Its Halting Slash has been changed from 100% AD physical damage to 175% base AD physical damage.

For rune changes, the Ravenous Hunter has its Omnivamp per stack reduced slightly. The Conqueror’s adaptive force per stack has been reduced to just two to four, and its duration has been decreased by two seconds.

Champion Balance Changes

Jinx has gotten some love in Patch 11.21. Her “Get Excited” passive has been buffed where the total attack speed bonus granted was increased to 25%. Her Super Mega Death Rocket ultimate has its cooldown reduced by 15 seconds at the first level, which allows you to use it more often in the early game

In contrast, Akshan’s Heroic Swing ability got its damage nerfed by 20 at the max level. This tweak may lessen the likelihood of Akshan bullying other Champions, especially in the late game.

    • Damage dealt has increased to [70/120/170/220/270 (+70% Ability Power)] 
  • Final Spark (R)
    • Ability cooldown decreased to 60/50/40
Teemo
  • Blinding Dart (Q)
    • Ability cooldown has decreased to 7
    • Blind duration has increased to 2/2.25/2.5/2.75/3 seconds 
    • Ability’s missile speed has increased to 2500
