Invincible: Guarding the Globe is Now Out for Mobile Platforms

The gang's all here! Ubisoft

Invincible: Guarding the Globe has been launched for mobile platforms and available for Android and iOS devices. It's also out on the Amazon Store. The game is set in the same world as Invincible of Skybound Comics and Amazon Prime. It features some of the notable characters from the series that include the likes of Invincible, Omni-Man, Atom Eve, and Titan. It offers a new narrative with players taking the role of an agent of the Global Defense Agency and deploy heroes to defend the world against various threats.

Now before you get too excited about this game, take note that this is a free-to-play idle RPG. The game has players build a superpowered squad of five members and fight against the hordes of invading forces like the Reanimen, Magnamites, and Flaxans. To tackle the mission available, players get to choose which heroes are the attackers, defenders, and even the support. Invincible: Guarding the Globe also allows players to have multiple battles run simultaneously in the background. This lets them rack up those rewards even when they're not actively playing.

The narrative of the game plays out through chapters. Each week players are introduced to new objectives which offer rewards to be earned. Meanwhile, players can equip each hero with four different gear items as well as one artifact. These items provide the heroes with unique buffs and can even be upgraded to give more power. It's actually easy to obtain new gear and artifacts along with recruiting new heroes. All players need to do is head on over to Cecil's Recruitment Department or Sinclair's Lab and use currency earned in-game. These can also bd done by completing main missions, weekly objectives, and in-game events.

Invincible is from Skybound Entertainment, the same company that also built different franchises that include The Walking Dead, Impact Winter, and Insiders, to name a few. Their portfolio isn't limited to video games but also spans across comic books, film, TV, and even podcasts. Invincible in particular has been part of Skybound since way back 2010. It was Skybound which made Invincible grow from being a comic book to a TV show on Amazon Prime and now a RPG.
