Supermassive Games, the developer of The Dark Pictures Anthology games, has been very busy for a while. It seems like that’s not gonna change anytime soon. Recent rumor reveals that the developer has tons of games planned and in development.

The rumor that originated on 4chan revealed a lot of information. According to the post, the final game of Season 1, The Devil in Me, will be released in October. The traps in the game are inspired by the movie Saw. The game will also feature brutal death scenes, including decapitation via a Sawblade.

In Season 2, two games will be released per year. Season 3 and Season 4 are planned and may be announced after Season 2 ends in 2024.

The rumor revealed information about several games of Season 2. One of them is a card game, while the other is a VR title. You can read about them in great detail below:

  • Winterfold is about a mold virus outbreak heavily inspired by The Last of Us' Cordyceps, which has infected a whole town turning them into flesh-eating zombies. You play as a family trying to make it out alive.
  • Directive 8020 is about a group of European space explorers that uncover a secret Russian base on the moon that has been taken over by rogue AI.
  • Switchback is a VR title.
