Immortals Fenyx Rising, formerly known as Gods & Monsters, is among the many ambitious titles that Ubisoft is currently working on. Just like several other Ubisoft games, Immortals Fenyx Rising has also celebrated its fair share of leaks and rumors, but today, Ubisoft official shared some additional details on the game during the company's second Ubisoft Forward digital presentation.

Immortals Fenyx Rising is developed by the same studio that worked on Assassin's Creed Odyssey. The game feels similar to the Zelda games, but it has been heavily inspired by Greek mythology. The combat and gameplay mechanics, however, seem to have been inspired by Assassin's Creed Odyssey. Following several release date leaks, Ubisoft has now officially confirmed that Fenyx Rising will be launching on December 3.

The December release date for Immortals is a smart move on Ubisoft's part as it will separate the game from big titles that are launching in November. November will be a busy month for game releases with Cyberpunk 2077 launching on November 17, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War coming out on November 13, and even Ubisoft's own Assassin's Creed Valhalla releasing on November 10.

For some unclear reason, Immortals also witnessed as change in its name. Since very little was known about the game before the change in name, it shouldn't cause too much of an issue for Ubisoft.

For those who are interested in seeing what Immortals Fenyx Rising has to offer, we're now in a waiting game. Stadia users, however, will get an exclusive demo prior to the game's launch. The demo will feature an exclusive island designed specifically for the demo.

What are your thoughts on Immortals Fenyx Rising? Given that the game looks similar to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, will it become next Zelda game stepping into the next-generation of gaming? Let us know your thoughts below.

Immortals Fenyx Rising is launching on December 3 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and Stadia.
