We finally have a release date for the upcoming single-player and first-person magic shooter from Electronic Arts and Ascendant Studios. Immortals of Aveum is launching July 20 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC through the EA App, Epic Games Store, and Steam.

The game is set in an original fantasy universe overrun with magic and widespread conflict. Players take on the role of Jak who's called as an Unforeseen. These are individuals that often grow up powerless and destitute but later in life unexpectedly manifest magical abilities. With his newfound abilities, he is recruited by one General Kirkan to be part of the Order of the Immortals.

As a result, he becomes part of mankind’s endless war for the control of magic. With both sides of the Everwar having powerful magic-wielders and legions of soldiers, Jak and his elite order of Immortals must uncover the mysteries of Aveum's troubled past if they want to have any hope of saving the future.
