Hunt: Showdown Update 1.11 Now Available for Testing

Hunt Showdown Beta Update 1.11
Beta Update 1.11 Steam

The first-person PvPvE tactical shooter Hunt: Showdown has a new beta update that is now available on the game’s test server. Beta Update 1.11 brings some improvements and bug fixes.

One of the best changes made in the latest update is that players can now pick their desired weapon up from the ground even though there are multiple weapons closely packed together. This is good because players no longer have to situate themselves accordingly just to get their preferred weapon from the floor.

In terms of gunplay, the Vetterli Silencer’s default and FMJ ammo now have a higher effective range, from 133/147 to 150/176. Also, players who like using shotguns will be happy to know that the weapon’s basic ammo and Penny Shot ammo damage has been adjusted, allowing them to comfortably kill Grunts and Hellhounds from a distance with one shot.

Aside from the above changes, the developers have noted that the persistent reload bug has not been fixed yet. As much as they wanted to resolve it, doing so has led to more bugs during their testing. That’s why they need more time to iron it out.

For those who are unaware, there is currently a problem with firearms that causes them to suddenly enter the reload animation while the user is still firing. Hopefully, the developers can fix this issue soon.
