The HTC 10 will be available only in its 32GB internal storage option when it ships in May, HTC Senior Communications Manager Jeff Gordon recently revealed on Twitter , among many questions he’s been tackling since the smartphone launched Tuesday.

HTC announced the 10 would be available in 32GB and 64GB options, but it appears those options will be market specific. There is no word on which markets will get the 64GB HTC 10, but for now, we know the U.S. is not one of them.

Gordon reminds prospective HTC 10 customers that the handset supports expandable storage up to 2TB, and also supports Google’s adaptive storage feature, which allows a device to read external storage the same way it reads internal storage. This lets users save applications on a microSD card without limitations. Since the HTC 10 is able to support high capacity microSD cards, the need for a handset with 64GB of internal storage is minimal, and a lot less expensive, considering the 32GB HTC 10 costs $699 .

The HTC 10 is currently available for preorder at HTC.com in Glacial Sliver and Carbon Gray color options. Handsets will begin shipping in May.
