When Call of Duty: Modern Warfare released its mid-Season Four update, it brought in the big guns. Literally. This was none other than the Rytec AMR. It’s available for multiplayer, co-op, and Warzone.
The weapon is described as a semi-automatic Anti-Material Rifle chambered in .50 BMG for dominant long-range assaults. In a post, Blizzard said that the “25x59,, high-explosive payload variant is officially listed as “experimental” but has been deployed on multiple classified missions with great effectiveness.”
So how do you unlock the Rytec AMR? All you need to do is get three Quickscope Kills using sniper or marksman rifles in one match. Pretty simple isn’t it? So dust off that scope, play that montage music, and relive the glory days of quickscoping.
In order to complete the challenge, the first thing you need to do is to choose between a sniper rifle or a marksman rifle. With a higher damage profile, sniper rifles allow players to get one-shot kills at greater distances. Marksman rifles, meanwhile, let players be more mobile, but the disadvantage is that it’s difficult to land those one-shot kills.
You also need to consider the loadout which can include:
- Primary Weapon: It’s your choice.
- Secondary Weapon: Kali Sticks
- These are considered as the faster weapons in terms of movement speed.
- Perk 1: Quick Fix
- This is a good choice since it allows you to heal up between engagements.
- Perk 2: High Alert
- This lets you turn and snap onto peripheral enemies.
- Perk 3: Amped
- Allows for faster weapon swaps in order to pull off those double-switch quickscope moves.
- Lethal Equipment: Any
- Tactical Equiment: Flash / Stun / Gas Grenade
