For the past weeks, we’ve dived into the mind of Agent 47, and we’re almost at the end. The launch of the Season of Envy for Hitman 3 means we’re now at the penultimate act of the Seven Deadly Sins campaign. For the new season, a rival assassin arrives, and Agent 47 needs to show that he is the best.
Like the previous seasons, expect new premium and sin-themed content that you can enjoy. There are also new and returning Elusive Targets, and new unlockables like The Odium Suit, Cat’s Claw, and Jaeger 7 Green Eye Sniper Rifle.
Elusive Target
While Season of Envy is already live, the fun starts October 1 with the first Elusive Target. The target is none other than the Ascensionist, considered by many to be the perfect con artist and more than willing to do anything to get up the social ladder. Reports say that she has swindled and even killed her way to Dubai. Time to track her down and bring that envy to an end. Remember that there are only 10 days to complete the task.
The hunt for the second Elusive Target starts October 15. Pertti Jarnefelt, also known as the Bookkeeper, has arrived in Colorado but won’t be staying long. Players are tasked to eliminate him and make sure to get his ledger. The problem is that Jarnefelt is extremely paranoid and is sure to run at the first sign of danger. For example, when combat is triggered he immediately runs to an evacuation point. Completing this one unlocks the Tactical Gear with Hunter’s Hat. As the first target, you only have 10 days to finish everything.
Location Rotation
For this season, the free location is an abandoned apricot farm in Colorado. This location is truly hostile since it’s a front for a militia training camp. Be sure to bring your A-game on this one.
Featured Contracts
The first set of Featured Contracts drops October 7 and they’re all done by IO Interactive. A total of three Envy-inspired contracts are available to complete.
The second set of Featured Contracts arrives on October 21, courtesy of the Hitman Community. There’s a lot to choose from, but the goal is to have fun.

Hitman 3 was released in January 2021 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Stadia, and Nintendo Switch. While the game is the final entry to the World of Assassination trilogy, it is actually the eighth main game in the franchise.
