Hearthstone Patch 22.6 Brings Back the Battlegrounds Armor System

It was back in January of this year when Buddies were introduced to Hearthstone. Since then, the team has been working on adding something that would make Buddies even better. That something appears to be bringing back the Battlegrounds Armor System with Patch 22.6.

With this new patch, these are now armor ranges and placements:

Tier 1 (0 Armor)
Tier 2 (2 to 5 Armor)
Tier 3 (3 to 6 Armor)
Tier 4 (4 to 7 Armor)
Tier 5 (5 to 8 Armor)
Tier 6 (6 to 9 Armor)
Tier 7 (7 to 10 Armor)

New Hero and Buddy

The new patch introduces a new hero and buddy to all players. These are:

New Hero
- Ambassador Faelin
- Expedition Plans
- Passive. Skip your first turn. Discover a Tier 2, 4, and 6 minion to get at those Tiers.
New Buddy
- Submersible Chef (Ambassador Faelin’s Buddy)
- [Tavern Tier 4] 4 Attack, 3 Health. Battlecry: Add a random Tier 1, 3, and 5 minion to your hand.

New Minions

It’s not just heroes since there are also new minions to be introduced with the new patch. These are:

Swampstriker
- [Tavern Tier 1, Murloc] 1 Attack, 4 Health. After you summon a Murloc, gain +1 Attack.
Tad
- [Tavern Tier 2, Murloc] 2 Attack, 4 Health. When you sell this, add another random Murloc to your hand,
Baby Krush
- [Tavern Tier 5, Beast] 7 Attack, 7 Health. Whenever this attacks, summon a 9/9 Devilsaur to attack the target first.
Friend of a Friend
- [Tavern Tier 6] 5 Attack, 6 Health. Battlecry: Discover a Buddy.

New Limited-Time Event

This March 22, there’s a new limited-time event that’s sure to bring a smile to old-school fans of MMORPG. None other than Leeroy Jenkins is making his way to Mercenaries and having his own special event. The event has 10 special Tasks that star Leeroy and the Black Dragonflight.
